Local Ministries
Christian Family Services, is a non-profit child-placing and counseling agency. We are supported by local Christians and Churches and licensed in both Missouri and Illinois (agency ID# 072877). Christian Family Services, Inc. was established in 1973 to provide services to children and families in need. The areas in which we assist are: ConnectCare, maternity counseling, adoptive placement, professional counseling, and family life education/enrichment. Though all ConnectCare parents, adoptive parents, and staff are Christians, services are provided to children, families, and individuals regardless of religious affiliation.
The Christians Who Care Food Pantry serves needy families from the community who live in the general area of our building, specifically the following zip codes: 63117, 63119, 63143, and 63144. The food pantry is also an emergency source for families in our congregation and families served by Christian Family Services. The pantry is staffed by MX family and friends. The Widows Fund was established in honor of Marian Thomas. Marian was an active widow at McKnight Crossings Church for many years and had a heart for other widows. At her request and in keeping with Scripture, the leadership is happy to designate and administer these funds for the benefit of widows in need.

GriefShare is a support group for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. We do not currently have a session meeting at McKnight Crossings.
