Milestones Ministry

Parent Commitment Parent Commitment is a commitment that parents make to God to raise their children in the way they shall go. God has called the child’s parents to be the ones responsible for their child’s spiritual formation. The church commits to creating a healthy space to reinforce its family's spiritual growth. We get to begin the journey with the family and church together.	Preschool Graduation Upcoming kindergarteners will be promoted from their preschool class on Promotion Sunday of each year. We will host a celebration for the upcoming kindergartner with the help of their preschool Bible class teachers. At the end of an upcoming kindergartner preschool year, our milestone is for them to recite the Lord's Prayer.	Bible Adventures We will welcome our new third graders by providing an opportunity for third graders to receive a Bible and begin learning how to navigate through it. Our Bible Adventures celebration will take place during our Bible class time. We will provide Bible games to help our children learn to use their bible. Parents are invited to stay with their children to help them as we play sword drills and other fun games with a Bible twist.	Passing The Torch This is the last stop in our children’s Kidmin journey before transitioning to the Youth Group. For 5th grade graduation, we will host a Friday night dinner, where the teachers who have poured into the children’s lives will speak. Each family will be invited to partake in the celebration for their child.
